Book Description

A teenager, rabbi and nobleman from three different eras decide their way to face the powers determined to destroy them and their communities.

FOREVERMORE vividly brings to life three documented stories that focus on Jewish people confronting oppression in three different historical periods. Their actions, culture and fate are described against the background of that period's historical events.

In the first part, Zabir Ben Bata, a nobleman Jew who lived in the time of Muhammad and the birth of Islam encounters with the Muslim prophet who has just fled Mecca. The little known, surprising interaction between Muhammad and the Jews of Arabia in the beginning of his way. And how it all ended.

In the second powerful account, Rabbi Aharon and the Jewish residents of the fortress city of Tulczyn are betrayed by the Polish, after the Jews agree to help the Poles against the Cossack attackers. The ultimate fate of each of the groups involved would be far from what anyone may expect.

The third part and the climax of this book is the amazing story of Jacob Lipschitz, his life in the Warsaw Ghetto, forays outside its walls, his clashes with a Nazi soldier who haunted him, actions with the ghetto's underground fighters, how he survived the Holocaust and what was its decisive effect on him. The author masterfully describes the reality as it was and adds a touch of simple yet deep insights into the historical process that shaped the Holocaust and into the character of the nations involved in it.
